Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
Account: your name, email, and password (the password is stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider, Supabase).
Birth details: the date, time, and place of birth you enter for yourself, and for anyone you add in Relationship Weather. Because this is sensitive, raw birth details are encrypted at rest (AES-256) and are never exposed to other users.
Your questions and readings: what you ask the astrologer features and the answers, so your chats have memory and daily limits work.
Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We store only your subscription status, purchased credits, and a Stripe customer reference, never card numbers.
Fraud prevention: at signup we store a salted, irreversible hash of your network address, used only to limit repeated free trials. We do not store your raw IP address with your profile.
2. How we use it
To compute your chart, generate your readings, remember your conversations, enforce fair daily limits, process payments, and keep the service secure. That is the whole list.
Chart context and your questions are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) to write your readings, and birth coordinates are processed by our astrology calculation provider. These providers process data to provide the service, not to advertise to you.
3. What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not show ads. We do not let other users see your birth details, your chart, or your conversations.
4. Where it lives and how it's protected
Data is stored in our database hosted by Supabase (Postgres) with row-level security, so each account can only ever read its own rows. Sensitive birth inputs are additionally encrypted at the application level before storage. Sessions use secure cookies; we use no tracking cookies.
5. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to export the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and everything attached to it (chart, readings, conversations, saved connections). Email support@astronelle.com from your account email and we will handle it within 30 days.
If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, or a region with similar laws, these rights are backed by regulation (GDPR and equivalents), and you may also complain to your local data authority.
6. Children
Astronelle is not for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
7. Changes and contact
